He got the Ronaldo in the name of Ronald Reagan who was very appreciated by the Cristiano Ronaldo’s father.

Relocation first, then birth

Famous English football club Liverpool was established “accidentally”. Everton played 8 years on “Anfield”, then after the quarrel with the owner of the stadium, Everton boss decided to move to Goodison Park. John Houlding (the owner of Anfield), not to have the stadium empty decided to establish the new club. The rest is history.

Famous football club from Serbia, Red Star (Crvena Zvezda) played some of their matches on the stadium of their fierce rivals, Partizan Belgrade. Red Star played its games on the Partizan’s stadium (built in 1949) while waiting for “Marakana” to be built (construction finished in 1963).

Attendance Record

While we are at Marakana, let’s speak about original Maracana, the Brazil one. Since 1950, this stadium holds the record for most visitors in one game. There were 199.854 visitors in the World Cup Finals. Also, the same number of people were disappointed since Uruguay defeated Brazil in that final with the score 2:1.

Giggs, England captain

If Ryan Giggs will be the best player that never played in the World Championship, then, his dedication to Wales will be remembered. However, it is less known that Giggs was the captain for England while he was part of High school team of England.

New Era

While we speak of a player of Manchester United, we immediately know that it is the club with the most trophies in England. But, did you know that Aston Villa had more trophies in the time sir Alex Ferguson took the charge over Manchester United in November, 1986. I bet you did not know that.
