Spain EURO 2024 Team: Who did Luis de la Fuente Called Up for Germany?
Spain is ready to attack their fourth European Championship title this year.
The Golden generation of Spanish football is now over since the last members of the generation, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, ended their international careers.
However, this does not mean that the Spain is without talents. They won the UEFA Nations League and they reached the semi-finals on EURO 2020. Luis de la Fuente took charge of Spain national team after Luis Enrique left. However, he kept the same philosophy Enrique had. They are combining the youth and experience! So far, it is a win-win situation.

Goalkeepers
The major surprises is that Kepa Arrizabalaga and Robert Sanchez are both left out due to poor form and lack of minutes in Real Madrid and Chelsea respectively. This opened an opportunity for Alex Remiro from Real Sociedad to be the third choice for Spain team for European Championship in Germany. First two choices are Unai Simon from Athletic Bilbao and David Raya from Arsenal.

There is strong possibility that Alejandro Grimaldo will be left-back. The good games in Leverkusen this year granted him the spot in the first XI. Right-back is reserved to the Champions League winner, Dani Carvajal.
