New name and logo for Inter
Football club Internazionale Milano is about to change its name and the logo. The current logo was designed in 1908 by Giorgio Muggiani. The logo was altered couple of times, always consisting of letters F, C, I, M (which stands for Football club Internazionale Milano).
However, the recent news state that the name and the logo will be changed.
As suggested by “La Gazzette delo Sport” and “Corriere della sera”, Suning company (owners of the Inter) are planning to refresh the brand. The changes will not be drastic. The new name will be Inter Milano with which Suning wants to emphasize the connection between the club and the city of Milano.
These will not be the only changes. Rumor has it, that after a decade, Pirelli will no longer be on the jerseys but Evergrande. Also, it is planned that new stadium is built. However, this will not go as fast as expected. The problem stands in the fact that Suning cannot invest in abroad operations since the Chinese government suspended all abroad investments.
The logo will most likely be presented on 9th of May, 2021. On the 113th anniversary of the club.
We will see if any of the above will happen and how fast since there are some announcements that Zhang family (who owns Suning group) is searching for the buyers as they are not able to invest in Inter at the moment.
