Will Dinwiddie Injury Impact Brooklyn Nets Results

Brooklyn Nets started the season pretty well by winning two opening games. In the next two games they lost. First lost came from Charlotte Hornets (106:104) while the second defeat came from Memphis Grizzlies in OT, final score was 116:111).

Nets guard, Spencer Dinwiddie has been diagnosed with partially torn ACL in his right knee after suffering the injury in the game against hornets. The surgery is scheduled for this week and it is expected that Dinwiddie will be fully recovered before the start of the next season.

It needs to be said that his injury is massive blow to the starting line-up of Brooklyn Nets.

He felt awkward while passing by Bismack Biyombo. He grabbed his right knee and after couple of seconds headed towards the bench to be checked by the club’s doctors. Later he headed to locker room and he did not show back again in the game. Before the injury, Dinwiddie made 5 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 15 minutes.

Last season while Irving was injured, he played prominent role in Brooklyn’s line-up. Although he was expected to be sixth man, he started 49 games making 20.6 points in average. Now, LeVert is expected to be starter instead of Dinwiddie but for sure it will be a massive blow for the Nets.
